Hardwood was used for both the roof and frames. This was treated with 3 spray applied coats of cream Sikkens wood treatment. Pilkington 'K' toughened glass sealed units were used throughout the project. Because of the roof height the 5 roof vents operate from a remote handset that controls the 5 motors individually. Electrically operated blinds were installed later by a local contractor. Cream coated aluminium was used for the roof vents, roof caps and guttering.
